As global society becomes more connected, competitive, and cooperative, the need for shared communication grows more urgent. Learning languages empowers individuals and communities to participate and shape their futures. As language educators, we share an interest in making this happen in the most efficient, effective, and engaging way possible. The Language Education Innovation Forum 2015, hosted by EF Education First in Boston and Cambridge, brings together leaders from a wide spectrum of interests, from government policy to classroom practice, to share their insights in a lively and interactive program of discussions and site visits. Invited participants and distinguished speakers will exchange their expertise and explore initiatives in research, assessment, policy, teacher development, and learning technology that promise to make a positive impact on language proficiency.
